Tuxedo Rental FAQs
How do I rent a tuxedo from you?
Stop by our store to rent a tuxedo! We recommend calling Treadz ahead of your arrival to make sure there is an employee available to assist you, as the fitting takes about 30 minutes. The employee will fit you for the tux, assist you in picking out the elements of the tux and place the rental order for you. We kindly ask that you arrive before 5 p.m.
When will my tuxedo be ready?
Tuxedos are typically sent to the store the week of your event. We will call you as soon as the tuxedo arrives so that you can come in, try it on and take it home!
When do I have to return my tuxedo?
Tuxedos must be returned 1-2 days after your event. For example, if your event is on Saturday, the tuxedo must be returned on Sunday or Monday. Special accomodations can be made in advance on a case-by-case basis. If you are late to return your tuxedo, without special accomodation, there may be a late fee.
When do you recommend I come in to be fitted for an event?
We recommend a month in advance! However, we can work with shorter deadlines of 1-2 weeks in advance. Please remember, the tuxedos are shipped in from Jim's Formalwear. We do not have any in stock at the store.
Do you offer tuxedo rentals for prom?
Yes! We do fittings for most of the high schools in the area. We recommend coming one month in advance of your prom to be fitted, as the more popular styles run out of stock quickly during prom season. At the latest, we are able to order tuxedos one week before the event.
Can I be fitted by you but rent from somewhere else?
Yes! We charge $10 per fitting for those who choose not to rent from us.
